Vastu Guide & Tips For Buying A Residential Plot, Keep in MIND!!!
Vastu Shastra, commonly known as Vastu, is a traditional Hindu system of architecture.
Ancient beliefs that integrating architecture with nature for utilizing geometric patterns and symmetry. The selection of a plot is very important since the plot represents a fixed form that will radiate positive as well as negative energies depending on its GEO location formation.
In order to ensure well-being, happiness, and prosperity of all the residents, it is important for a house to be built as per guidelines laid down by the Vastu Shastra.

Most of these VASTU GUIDELINES are based on scientific reasoning and little on common sense.

·        PLOT LOCATION
·        PLOT DIRECTION AND ORIENTATION.
·        PLOT SHAPE
·        PLOT SOIL
·        PLOT SLOPE

v PLOT LOCATION:-

·        The Roads around the Plot also plays an important role as per Vaastu Shastra for the wellbeing of its habitats. The plot with roads running along on all four sides is the best. It brings health, wealth and happiness
·        It is inauspicious if there are three roads only on the East, South, and West
·        If there are roads on only the East and Northside, that is good
·        The plot with roads running along on three sides - on the North, West, and East is not so good.
·        Roads on the North, South, and West is also not so good
·        If there are roads on the West and North, it is average
·        The plot with a road running along and ending at the North-East corner is very good. But if the road ends in any other part of the plot it is usually not good
·         A road on the East or north side of the plot is good, but a road on the South or West side is not so good

v PLOT ORIENTATION:-
·        Let us examine the basic considerations, in naming them as good, not bad, bad and very bad.
·        East-NorthEast: If the oncoming road is from the East, and hits the North-East part of the Plot, it is considered a good site.
·        North-NorthEast: If the oncoming road is from the North, and hits the North-East part of the Plot it is considered a good site.
·        West –NorthWest: If the oncoming road is from the West, and hits the North- West part of the Plot, it is considered as a not bad site.
·        South-SouthEast: If the oncoming road is from the South, and hits the South- East part of the Plot, it is considered as a not bad site.
·        East – SouthEast: If the oncoming road is from the East, and hits the South- East part of the Plot, it is considered a bad site.
·        North – NorthWest: If the oncoming road is from the North, and hits the North-West part of the Plot, it is considered a bad site.
·        West-SouthWest: If the oncoming road is from the West, and hits the South-West part of the Plot, it is considered a very bad site.
·        South – SouthWest: If the oncoming road is from the South, and hits the South-West part of the Plot, it is considered a very bad site.
·        The most important factor in choosing a land is its direction. While you plan to purchase a plot, prefer North-facing direction as it is
·        Considered highly auspicious. East and west facing plots can also be considered, however, south facing land should be completely avoided
v PLOT SHAPE:-

·        Ideal shapes for the residential plot are square or rectangular which are narrower at the entrance and wider at its rear. However, its opposite is a big
·        “No”. Round, oval, triangular and L-shaped plots should be avoided. It is imperative to check the corners of the land as well, a plot with a cut in VASTU.

v PLOT SOIL AND PLOT SLOPE :-
·        While purchasing land, it is ideal to buy a piece of land that is most suitable for cultivation i.e., where the vegetation can grow. There are different types of soil based on the color- brick red, dark brown, white, red, yellow, black etc. Generally, the soil which is good for cultivation like red, brick red, brown, yellow soil etc is also good for the foundation of a building. Whereas, black and clayey soil which is not good for cultivation is also not good for buildings as it retains water and can cause dampness to the foundation
·        Depending on the directional axis of any plot, there are certain basic Vastu principles that can define the natural slope as favorable or otherwise.
Land slopes towards:-
·        North bring in riches
·        East bring good luck
·        West bring financial losses
·        South cause destruction and grief

#DRARC Belief: -   We earn money and spend it, but we cannot earn luck or good life, its not available in the market. So be cautious before buying new properties, don't buy the property with your own vastu knowledge, it may hurt you in future, fortunately if your decision of buying new plot is OK, then all went good, otherwise, the critical situation has to be faced. Generally, square and rectangular SITES are the preferred sites.
